I have incorporated the corrections.
I hadn't realized there were two o's in Telugu - a longer and a shorter one. I had made that mistake one other place and I fixed that too.
As far as the first word of the అనుపల్లవి goes, that's how it is sung. And I also cross referenced this page from the Karnatik lyrics archive.

Yep,
o as in కొ
O as in కో
au as in కౌ
Technically, the third is a different sound. Which is what I meant by two o's.
